How to Change our Interchangeable Watch Straps
Instructions:
Prepare Workspace:
Choose a clean and well-lit workspace.
Lay a soft cloth to protect the watch and work surface.
Locate Spring Bars:
Identify the spring bars that connect the current strap to the watch lugs. These are small, spring-loaded bars on each end of the strap.
Release Spring Bars:
Using a spring bar tool or small jeweler's screwdriver, insert the tool into the small gap between the lug and the strap.
Apply gentle pressure to release the spring bar. Repeat for the other end.
Remove Current Strap:
Slide the current strap off the lugs once both spring bars are released.
Place the removed strap in a safe location.
Attach New Strap:
Align the new strap with the watch lugs.
Insert one end of the spring bar into the lug hole, compressing the other end with the tool.
Repeat for the other side.
Secure Spring Bars:
Ensure that both ends of the new strap are securely attached by checking for a snug fit against the lugs.
Check Security:
Gently tug on the new strap to confirm that the spring bars are securely in place.
Repeat as Desired:
If changing to multiple interchangeable straps, repeat the process for each strap.
Final Check:
Wear the watch and check for comfort and security.
Make adjustments as needed.
